hay guys, I know that this is random but there’s a lot of people on here that I can get to. My brothers 13-year-old sister was killed in a hit and run drunk driving accident last Friday and the guy that did it is on a 1 million dollar bond, he’s trying to reduce it so he can be on house arrest. We’re trying to keep in jail because we’re scared that he flees back to his country of Nicaragua before any justice can be served on him. I’ve come to the conclusion that I really want my kids to grow up believing in something. Why did I never take a religion class while I had the chance? I think religion is awesome because it really helps people think positively and look forward to the rest of their lives. It makes shitty things, not so shitty. Mostly though, it gives people hope.
I want my kids to have something like religion to help them cope with everyday problems as well as the stressful times. Whether religion may or may not be “real” is not the point of it. The point is to always have something to help you take the next step.
